Grand Theft Auto Comes to Netflix: Play for FREE on Mobile!

Netflix is offering subscribers Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition starting December 14th – arguably the biggest addition to its game catalog to date.

This game is not just one game, it consists of GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas – their remastered versions with updated graphics. It should be noted that these games will be available on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and of course the Netflix mobile app.

For the uninitiated, GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas are considered the best Grand Theft Auto games, and now with the remastered versions, Rockstar Games – the developer of these iconic games – has allowed current players to get a taste of them as well. The game was released on multiple platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series consoles and Nintendo Switch on 11/11/2021.

Notably, this is one of the biggest additions to the Netflix games library and could certainly help the company gain more eyes as it looks to gain some of the game subscription models currently dominated by the likes of Microsoft and PlayStation.

Earlier this month, Netflix also announced other games coming to the service, including the debut of Hades on mobile devices and several other indies, such as Death’s Door, a mobile multiplayer game where players take on the role of a crow who travels across dungeons to collect souls for the Reaping Commission’s headquarters.

Another indie classic, Braid, originally released for Xbox 360 in 2008, is also available on Netflix. In Braid, players control Tim, who can manipulate the flow of time to solve puzzles and rescue a kidnapped princess.
